Twitter App and embedded media

Hello - Does the built in Twitter App let you display the images that are attached to/embedded in a Tweet? Is it an API restriction? Is there a way to display these images? At the moment I'm just using the bundled "tweet.html" template.

At the moment it's only geared up for displaying text. I'm not sure if it's an API restriction - I don't think so.
