Internal Search Result Anchor Links

I would like the displayed Search Result returned to link to the specific Item on the Page in question.

i.e. Search result = "3M VHB 5952 Black" This takes me to the page containing the item only. I want it to take me to the specific item, like an Anchor etc.

Is this possible?

Yes, you may be able to do this with the item URL setting. What time of content is it?

Hi Drew

I have a list of pages with individual products on them. You can see what I mean by checking out the following URL: https://www.sydneysitetesting.com/adept_project/ So, if you use the primary search function from the home page (top right corner) and search for a product say "3M VHB 4956F Grey" you will get a list of search results as normal. I want the links shown in the search results to take me directly to the product listed on the page, not just the page where the product is listed and then have to scroll to find it.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks, Peter

In the region options there's a field for the URL as used by search results. You can add a fragment identifier to that.

Hi Drew

I think I follow you, but can you show me an example of a fragment identifier?

An HTML fragment identifier, not Perch related: https://www.w3.org/DesignIssues/Fragment.html
