new install categories not creating a slug

Hi

Updated to 2.6.5 and blog 4.51, the blog app creats the blog slug but i created more sets and the title was created but no slug.

I recreated a new install and got the same result. The templates are correct and the table in the database creates the slug field but it is not getting populated.

Any thoughts

Regards,

Brett

In the Set Options, which templates are you using?

Just installed the default, perch-templates-categories-set.html

How does that appear in the select box?

Title and description , everything looks OK just no slug.

I'm still not clear what you're seeing on the Set Options page. Can you show me a screenshot?

Hi Drew

I have tested the versions from 2.6

2.6 works as expected

2.6.3 works as expected

2.6.5 does not add a slug for the category, creates the database tables and you can manually add the slug name.

I did not install any other app.

the set options template has

Title - News set template - set category template - Category set template image sets image

Seeing the same as Brett has explained. Fresh install of 2.6.5 with no add-on apps, using the default set.html and category.html templates.

(I.e., setSlug is not added to the perch2_category_sets table when creating a new Set, although you can manually add it.)

Reproduced it, thanks. It'll be fixed for 2.6.6.
