Asset upload to new buckets does not work

I am having exactly the same problem as these guys; https://forum.grabaperch.com/forum/09-20-2017-asset-upload-script-error-in-perch-runway-3010 No issues going to the assets section in the dashboard and uploading new images to the admin and default buckets. And I am able to go to a page and upload an image if there is no bucket specified in the content. But I am unable to upload content via the pages if a new bucket name is specified.
