Two Factor Authentication for Perch Control Panel
A growing number of the website briefs I'm seeing are looking for Control Panel that is secured with 2FA. (Google, Authy, etc time based one-time passwords).
Is there any possibility of adding 2FA to core Perch? As a minimum could there be something like a post Perch authntication hook that could be used to add a 2nd phase of login?
I understand there is the posibility to add an alternative authentication mechanism with an authentication plugin but in most cases thats overkill.
It could be added, but at the moment we're not seeing enough demand to justify the work involved. I think the best chance for a feature like this is if a customer were to sponsor its development (like with Paranoid Mode).
