Video uploads not immediately appearing in Assets

When uploading a video (other files seem ok), there is no indication that the upload has been a success, and the new asset does not appear. You need to interact with the filters in order to have it appear: https://jmp.sh/Jv5vU5s

That's a new one on me. It looks like you don't have imagick configured, so no video thumbnails are generated - I wonder if that could be causing it.
