Ckeditor content - search result_excerpt

Hi Rachel and Drew!

Thanks for your great software, it's a pleasure for me to work with! Today i have a question and did not found an answer in the forum: If i use perch search it shows not utf-8 encoded characters in the "result_excerpt". But this is only in Ckeditor generates contents (also Tinymce!). All other contents: textfields, markitup etc. worked fine in perch search. My (german) pages are utf-8 encoded. If i use perch:showall, is see, the Ckeditor result_excerpts are ISO encoded but the contents are UTF-8 encoded :-( How can i solve this problem?

That sounds like an encoding issue with CKEditor, doesn't it?

Yes it is! Thank you Drew for your fast answer! I had a look in the database and saw some more: It is not an encoding problem, it is html encoding for special german characters like "Blätter" etc. How can i disable it, because in the _config.inc file utf-8 is enabled...?

OK. I have found it: I have inserted in config.js => config.htmlEncodeOutput = false; and config.entities = false;
