Importing blog posts

I imported a bunch of blog posts (about 60) from an old Wordpress version of the site after finding out this was possible from Rachel Andrew on a forum.

The import has worked brilliantly but I had the editor for the post page set to markdown rather than CK editor so it hasn't brought across all the formatting like paragraphs.

I installed CK editor but I think it's too late for the posts to now be formatted properly.

Question is, if I delete all the posts and re-import them with the CK Editor in place will this cause more issues because the posts will literally be duplicates of what I deleted?

No, it shouldn't be a problem.

Actually I just tried importing a new blog post and it doesn't pull in the formatting because of the "clever" Wordpress WYSIWYG editor that strips out the paragraph tags.

Any ideas or is it some gold old going through the posts and editing manually?

If the export doesn't include paragraphs then I'm not sure what we can do.
