Merging Resource Libraries
Hi guys,
I've been working on a dev site for the last few weeks, and while I've been doing that, the client has been using the live site.
At the point of moving the dev site over, I've realised that I need to merge the two resource libraries; there are new resources in both that aren't in the other.
Is there a way that you'd recommend doing this?
The normal advice is to add content only to your live database. Work on your templates etc in dev, but add the content live.
Thanks Drew, do you have any advice for moving over the resources? Is a simple copy/paste of the files in the resource folder going to suffice?
You need to add the files via Perch if you want to be able to use them in content.
How many files is the Perch file uploader able to handle at once?
That depends entirely on your server resources.
