Markitup issues on touch PC

Hi

I've got a client using the latest Chrome on a touch PC and the hover isn't working on the markitup Headings button. I guess because its a touch PC, its not registering a hover state to show the Headings dropdown, so the client cannot select headings. Is there a way round this?

Have you tried SimpleMDE?

I hadn't thought of switching editors. I'll give it a try. Am I right in thinking if I switch the editor in blog it won't effect existing posts, it will just use the new one for future posts?

The editor will be whatever is set in the template. Are the existing posts in Textile rather than Markdown? If that's the case switching won't work.

They are in markdown, so I’ll give it a try.
