Updating Perch 1.7.3 to latest update

I am just inquiring on how to best update my old version of perch 1.7.3 to the latest updated version.

If you want to upgrade to Perch 2 you would need to buy a Perch license and then use the Upgrade app, you should first update to 1.8.4 before doing so as the upgrade app only moves from the last version of Perch 1 to Perch 2.
