I have found that if you upgrade perch 2.7.10 to runway 2.7.10 you get no message saying updated, both the collection and backup table do not get added to the database.

If you crossgrade on the same version, you need to manually run the update script.
where is that? How is Canada?
Load this in your browser:
/perch/core/update/?force=update
(Canada is friendly, but cold!)
