Problem With New Install

Just done another install, everything seemed to go okay.

Have created a page with regions and assigned templates to them, however whenever I enter content and save the page, all the fields disappear in admin until I reload the page from the admin root.

No content is saved.

Checked diagnostics and nothing obviously wrong.

Resources is writeable.

Any ideas whats happening?

I enabled debug and found this line:

Invalid query: SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'itemUpdatedBy' in 'field list'

and

Invalid query: SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'procreative_cms.perch2_resource_log' doesn't exist

Seems some kind of sql error, any ideas?

I would re-install again. Sounds like all the tables were not created upon install.

Found this is another post:

/perch/core/update/?force=update

Seems to have solved it.

Yeah, that would likely verify tables, and create missing tables. I had forgotten about that function. I didn't realize it existed as a new install, but I do learn something new all the time.
