Changing (converting) licenses
I just read here:

that I can move to a Runway Developer License free of charge.
I understand the limitations, and they are extremely fair but if for example I started using it for a "hobby" could I then switch back to the commercial license under Perch?
Also, is the fundamental difference one of automatic updates?
You can't convert a Runway Developer license to a standard Perch license, no. You can upgrade to a full Runway license though.
