First save of blog post, must save as draft

Hi

I have recently upgraded to version 3 and notice that in blog, when first saving a new post, I can only 'create draft' rather than being able to immediately save a published version. It's not a major issue as the end-user can opbviously subsequently change the status to 'published and then save. However it would be helpful to know in terms of informing upgraded end-users.

Is this a new feature (which is fine) or have I missed something somewhere?
