Specify image type

Hey,

Happy new year all! Is there a way to specify that the user can only upload an SVG type image for the image region type?

Yes, you can add it to a group in the config/filetypes.ini file. You can then restrict a field to that group using the accepts attribute on the image and file field types with Paranoid mode enabled.
