Moved a page and now can't log into Perch

Hi,

I am unable to provide you with the diagnostic report as I can't get access to Perch at the moment.

I was making a few content changes on a Perch v2 site and I moved a page to a new location (sermons.php to archive/sermons-2017.php). When I did this, it logged me out of Perch and now I can unable to access it at all. All I get is the login screen.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I resolve this?

Thanks.

It sounds as if you have done more than just move a page. I would restore from your backup and then make note of what exactly you are doing in case it happens again.

Thanks Rachel.

The thing is, that is all I did. I went into the page 'sermons', went to page options and set a new parent, 'sermon archive', and chance the file name to sermons-2017. That was all I did, nothing less, nothing more.

Surely I shouldn't have to restore from a backup for that?

That course of action would not cause what you are seeing, so something else has been changed. The best thing to do is go back to your backup, so you have a working version and then go step by step to see if you can reproduce the issue.
