Basically all of this upgrading is down to the site being hacked and many of the perch files have been tampered with. Originally I had hoped that I could upgrade to v2 and effectively replace everything and eliminate the dodgy files.
Option 2 will be to replace everything compatible with v1.8.4 and the versions of blog and gallery that I am able to upgrade to from the previous iterations on the site.
Do you have the last version of Gallery v1 so that I can install that please? The version in the archive is v2.2 and it's not compatible with v1.

There are just under 1500 images in total. If you have any clever ideas on how to transfer them, I'm all ears!

I haven't found one yet, and we've changed version control systems since those days. There's an old archive drive that I'm hoping to dig out.
