Install with PHP version not 5.3

Is it possible to get round an installation of perch onto php5.2.4 (host due to update 'soon' sadly)

install a recent version of Perch where 5.2.4 would be ok?

Quite critical to get this project moving.

We don't support PHP 5.2 at all.

PHP5.3 is end of lifed now, 5.2 is dangerously obsolete. If your client is hosting somewhere that has not upgraded away from 5.2 they absolutely should not be hosting with them.
