Is it possible to use perch shop with a price calculator?

Hi,

We are about to embark on a web project that requires a form to calculate the price of a product depending on certain options selected, and then on submit it will take the calculated price to checkout.

I know with Perch shop prices are usually entered in the back-end of the app, so I wasn't sure if this was possible to take a price submitted through a custom form, or we would need to have something more customised built interns of the check out too.

I hope this was the right place to ask such a questions, since you input would be greatly appreciated!
