Set page defaults

Hi,

I am looking ahead to when my content editor (client) will be creating pages on their own, and I wondered if there is a way to set the default Master Page to be 'default' rather than 'Page already exists, or is a link only'.

Also, to default to ' This page will have more pages below it'.

I find myself checking these 2 options every time I create a page, and imagine that the Client may miss this from time to time when they're not careful.
