It would be helpful if the variant generator created a title for the variant that included the Product Title plus the Variant Title.

Product Title: Awesome Book Title

Option Title: Signed by Author

Variant Title: Awesome Book Title - Signed by Author

Of course retain the option to change the title if desired.
