More options for Author Details?

How/where to do I more details for editors to add information about a blog Author?

I see that author.edit.post.php has those options, but an example might be helpful or if indeed this is where I added more fields. I want to add a job title options for editors to complete. Thoughts?

Hello Leigh,

You don't have to edit the Blog app's files.

If you haven't already, copy the blog folder from perch/addons/apps/perch_blog/templates to perch/templates.

Then you can add your custom fields to the author master template perch/templates/blog/author.html.
