Categories - Problems 2.8
Well, I updated my local server with 2.8, then set out to work on development site. Wanted to change the name of a category set and I get success message but the previous name would keep coming back.
Did some fiddling around and no matter what I did the name wouldnt change.
I completely deleted the set, created a new set and the "Name" field would come back blank, check database and the category was created, but both "Name and Slug" are empty.
I deleted all tables, did a new install and the same problem... exactly.
Deleted all tables again, new install of 2.7.10 and everything works flawlessly. Something in 2.8 has messed with categories.

Yes, thanks, we've fixed it so it'll be good again in 2.8.1.
Hi Drew, just realised when you save a category I am getting the same problem - nothing saves? Will 2.8.1 be released soon?
Yes, it's available now.
