Forms email without attachments
Hello, I was wondering if it is at all possible to turn off attachments with email notifications sent when a form (with uploaded files) is submitted?
The functionality works great, but I have a client requiring a lot of file uploads and would much prefer to notify them of the form submission and to download the files via Perch CMS.
I found related forum threads from about 5 months ago but couldn't see if there had been any resolutions.
I don't think so. What use are you putting this to that requires a lot of file uploads?
The website lists manually updated business profiles with multiple downloadable PDF's and up to 20 images. They wish for their clients to be able to submit a form on the website and upload these files all at once. If I could turn off the attachments in the notification email, I think it would work fine.
That doesn’t really sound like the sort of thing the Forms app was designed for. It’s supposed to solve the quick form-to-email case, really.
I understand it's not ideal, but as far as I was aware, the Members app doesn't support public profiles as yet does it?
It doesn't no.
I often dash off emails to people and still I forget attachments. I am using an email client which does keyword sniffing, e.g. if I type 'attachment' or similar it will pop up a warning, but more often than not this fails to trigger because the email body is something like "Here you go" or something. see: https://luckypatcher.pro/ , https://kodi.software/ & https://showbox.software/
