perch_pages_navigation sort by date pageModified

Hello Is it possible to sort a navigation by the pageModified attribute - I can see it in the showall output, but cannot find any documentation on how to sort by this.

The navigation is sorted in the order of the site structure, so no, I don't think you can do that.
