Problem with blog app

Hi

I installed perch and the blog app a while back on clients site. The project got put on hold and I have only just revisted it. It was working fine when I originally set it up, but now when I login I can't even see the App menu, and no sign of the blog I setup. details below:

I can not include a diagnostic report because the settings menu is not even showing up
