Upgrading / downgrading / cancelling paid memberships

Anyone know if it's possible to allow users to manage their membership level using Perch Shop? If so could you briefly explain how I might go about implementing this?

Membership works by applying tags to the members account, so you would need to have a way for them to add/update/remove the relevant tags.

I would start by working out what tags you need and then go from there.

Thanks Rachel,

Does the shop app integrate with Stripe subscriptions at all? If, for example, a member upgrades their membership this would require that they pay the additional amount for the new membership. Does the shop app have this kind of functionality?

Also does the shop app allow for recurring subscriptions?

We don't currently integrate with any Subscriptions - you would need to manage that for yourself.

Recurring subscriptions are on the roadmap, however it's a fairly big chunk of work as we would have to address each payment gateway separately (and not all give the functionality). It's likely when we do address it Stripe and PayPal would be a priority but I don't have a timescale for that.
