Developer Version of our Site: Perch licence
One of our colleagues wants to help us program additional php functions to work with our site. He works in the US and wants to set up a test environment on his own local server
I want to send him our Perch database and allow him to use our Perch licence to work with it.
Is that permitted? His code and our db on his server would only run on his local machine.
What's the procedure for this?

You can add development and staging domains in license details in your Account..... and use a multi-domain configuration file like this https://solutions.grabaperch.com/development/multiple-server-config

For the licensing question, yes, it's fine as long as your within the three domains at one time.
Can I please clarify something that's bothering me.
Is it possible to have a developer use a dev version of our site (using our licence) and NOT to have access to the live site? We want him to deploy and test to the dev site but NOT to be able to access the live site.

Yes. He'd only have access to the live site if you gave him access. Perch can't do that.
