No There is no white space before the <?php include('marvmindbev/runtime.php');?>
Is your page file saved with a BOM?
What is a BOM!
A byte order mark. It should be an option in your text editor to save files with or without them. You want to save the file without a BOM.

I used a different text editor and I noticed the the first text editor had put a ? before the <?php. it seems to have fixed the issue. The other problem of uplading the pdfs seem to have been fixed as well.
Thank you very much.
