Get Perch Shop most popular (most sold) product list

What method would one use to get the top 10 most sold products in Perch shop? My current thinking is to search through products sold using perch_orders but if there's a more elegant way it would be good to know.

There's no such method. If you like I could add something like that to the roadmap for others to vote for.
