Upload Perch to a temporary domain?

Hi

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to upload Perch to a temporary domain?

I've made a new website for a client, as part of the website refresh they also want to move hosting.

The domain DNS hasn't been changed yet, and I'd like to be able to setup the website before the DNS changes happen so the new site is there when the DNS kicks in.

I've uploaded the site files and the database to the new hosting and it's not working?

I'm running Perch 2.4.9

Things I've tried:

• Updated the PHP to 5.3
• I've run the compatibility test and the hosting passed
• I've (temporarily) changed the live domain URL in my Perch account to the temporary URL the hosting company has provided.

If I upload HTML files to the new hosting I can see them via the temporary domain, so I know the temporary domain / hosting is working...

Any ideas?
