Duplicating Blog Template for NewsFeed Section

I currently have the basic license for perch CMS . Is it possible for me to duplicate the fucntionality of blog in perch so that i can use the same for a new section in the same website - Newsfeed Section ?

Hi Titus, yes, you can use blog_content_custom to output the blog listing anywhere on the site. As described here: https://docs.grabaperch.com/functions/blog/perch-blog-custom/

That is to output the blog listing right ? I need the functionality of the blog app to be duplicated and used as a NewsFeed Section . This will have its own "post template " and another seperate custom "post in list" template .

Plus i do not own a perch runaway license

Hi Titus,

You may be able to use Blog Sections for your News Feed. https://docs.grabaperch.com/functions/blog/perch-blog-sections/

You do not need Perch Runway for this.
