Sorting with events app dynamic fields
I have created a text field that allows the admin to manually order events that have entered in the events app. In the DB this appears in the eventsDynamicFields as "eventOrder:01" etc
Is there a way to use event order as the sort parameter, so I need to change my field type of the field to an Integer and not a string?
The Events app doesn't support sorting or filtering by dynamic fields.
Is the only way to order things then by date?
No, you can order by any of the fixed fields.
