I would like to upload a batch of image assets as library files - is there a way to do this without having to edit each image individually after uploading?

Another feature request would be to add the drag and drop batch uploader to the Assets section of the site. Currently I have to edit a page -> region -> select or upload an image to invoke the assets side panel to upload multiple files at a time, which seems somewhat roundabout / unintuitive!
I would love this feature as well.
Any news on adding this feature... i thought i could just drag a load of images into "Image Selector" (which did work) but when you choose an image the others disappear from the assets :(
