error in new perch

Hi i upgraded to 2.8.11 from 2.3.4

but i get this error: Fatal error: Call to a member function return_instance() on a non-object in /home/sites/theambrette.co.uk/public_html/ambrette/perch/core/lib/api/PerchAPI_Form.class.php on line 423

any ideas?

I've had to since revert

Are you using any add-ons? If so, did you update them?

ok that fixed it thanks. So when you update the perch core you need to update all extensions too?

That would be sensible - especially jumping huge version numbers like that.
