Could you please share if an upcoming version of Events App might include an iCalendar Appointment File (.ics)?
We have no current plans to add that.

I'll try writing up a custom template for an ics file and see how that goes.
I would be tempted to publish HTML with the hCalendar microformat and then use an existing converter.
