Members App ~ is it possible to use custom fields?

I'm hoping to use the Members App to manage a contact list of users that the individuals named on the list can login and update their own profiles independently without having to liaise with me. With this in mind is it possible to introduce new fields for examples address, secondary email, telephone etc that the user can update?
