Number of repeated items

Hi, Is it possible to get the item count from a repeater to display the total number of repeated items the multi region listing in the admin?

I have a page that displays X number of colourways (generated by a repeater) and in the admin I'd like to display how many colourways the are. Currently I have a supressed field which the toal is manually added. I would prefer it if I could simply use the count from the repeater for this.
