Perch Assets - Edited image gets given a new name
Hi,
How do i upload/edit an image in the Assets without it renaming? i.e. the image becomes image-1.jpg or image-2.jpg, so the reference to image.jpg is lost

You can't at the moment. Things will go much more smoothly if you let Perch manage your content for you. Output the file name using a template, and then when the file changes the template will output the new version.
Ok but we are doing something quite bespoke whereby we are targeting an image based on a form selection
basically, we have a select boxes of locations - i a user selects say "hastings" we display an image called "hastings.jpg"
How can i do this using perch content?
Where does the data for your locations list come from? Could you add the image field to that?
