You should speak to your server admin - they'll be able to point you to how to change those settings.

I am my own server admin. can you give me the exact path in perch file system so where to change the value.

It's not a Perch file, it's your server's PHP configuration file. The path to it will depend on the way you've configured the server.

I'm having trouble with this so thought provide the diagnostics to see if might get more insight, Due to the natural of the site it had to be on a VPS hosting and this a new challenge to me as never used web min before.

Perch support is limited to Perch itself, we can't support your hosting. If you are unfamiliar with this type of hosting you are going to need to ask the person supplying you with your VPS.

Does the diagnostics support that it is the hosting that stopping the file from uploading ?

You can see in the details that your max upload size is 2M, this is very low. As Dew has already explained you need to change that however this is unrelated to anything that Perch can setup for you.

I have increased the download limit however perch still says that the limit is 2M ....

What have you increased it to? Did you restart the server?

need some help with this, Im using a VPS hosting service. I have updated the upload size to 102400M I have restarted Apache But perch still says only 2M

I find the fix for this.

What does phpinfo() say?

Where or what is that ?

Put this in an empty PHP page:

<?php
phpinfo();

upload_max_filesize is still showing as 2M on there, so your change has not taken effect on the server

but not sure what else to try on the server. I'm new to using VPS, using VPS because of what to create download link on the website.

You need to contact your host about this, we can't support your hosting.
