Search Results for Podcast Episodes

I've been trying to use perch_content_search to produce search results for podcast episodes.

I'm not getting any results, despite quite a few entries. I understand this is because the Podcasts app does not include the PerchAPI_SearchHandler—is this correct?

It would be great if the Perch Podcasts App could include search functionality. My use case is that I'm adding transcripts to podcast episodes and it would be handy for people to search through those transcripts as an accessibility enhancement. It would also help me when preparing show notes—I could search through podcast transcripts to ensure we don't go over the same topics again.
