Move perch to alternative url

Hello

I have a perch site on thethunderfoundation.uk but have recently taken over the international url thethunderfoundation.org and would like to transfer the entire site, database and perch cms over to this url instead of the .uk which was only set up as a temporary address.

Is this ok to do as it is the same business etc and what is the best way to proceed without loosing any data etc.
