One of our clients has suggested having the ability for users to subscribe to their blog and receive posts by email, i'm wondering if this feature would be on the roadmap for perch blog at some stage?

It's not planned, but it's something that could be a possibility in theory.
Right now you can use RSS and an external service to achieve the same.

I have done this for a few clients using RSS and Mailchimp / the Perch Mailchimp app, it is fairly straightfoward to set up. If you need any pointers happy to help.
Hi Mike, if you've had experience doing this I'd love a few pointers! Do you have some source code? I've never integrated RSS so some help would be appreciated. Does it use Mail Chimp to send out the latest item in the RSS feed then?
