Using Perch with alternative domain on localhost

I have added an entry to my hosts file on windows, e.g.

127.0.0.1 exampledomain.local

however when I go to that URL Perch says that templates cannot be found.

Is there a way to use an alternative domain name other than localhost on the local system?

That just sounds like you have misconfigured Perch in some way. You can use whatever local domain you like as long as you put it into your account.

Hi Rachel,

I created another entry in my config.php file and added the domain to my account.
