Repeating custom content (ie. for a calendar of events)

In the summer I set up some custom content to create my own calendar of events type thing, as the official app didn't do what we needed it to do. I'm now working on anther project which needs a similar thing, it's a website for a small church, but it needs to have events that repeat each week (sunday services, weekly prayer meeting etc). Is it possible to have Perch create content that creates a repeating instance at given intervals?
