Add details to an order to be displayed in notification emails
I would like to be able to add information to an order placed in shop that will be passed into email notifications.
The typical use for this would be a courier tracking code.
Is this possible?
I've seen an old post (https://forum.grabaperch.com/forum/10-28-2016-shop-email-order-paid-order-dispatched). However it didn't seem to be resolved.
Are you seeing the same issue as in that thread with the
order.html
template?I wouldn't say the same issue, I can get the notifications to go out fine. What I want to do is add fields to the order view in the admin area that I can populate with information that will be called into the email templates.
I think this is something we have an open story for.
It would be super useful.
